Meaning for marriage?

My life is surrounding with incidents of marriage's problem, lately. My best friend is under going her traumas in marriage. Cousin is having infidelity relationship with intruder. Friend is slump into complicated relationship for 3 years and etc. Those fouls and viles ached me. Since when marriage become such fouls?
Marriage should be only ONCE in a life time and it is Holy. However it seems so easy to abolished, with the rate of divorce keep increasing.I've doubt on the meaning for marriage. It's seem so frail,fickle and shattering. Perhaps human being is vulnerable to faults, foibles and failures. So do marriage, which consists of two human being. For once, I am so defiant of those intruders. But now, I'm wondering one hand can't clap (一只手掌拍不响). If a relationship is strong and solid enough, will it still so easy to agitated by intruder? Maybe the morality of human being has tainted and it is contagious.
I've learnt, when it's happen, please take all the courages to face it. When a marriage or relationship come to the end, maybe the best way to handle it is cease all the hurts and leave it with prides. Everything can be lost but never lose our pride and dignity. At least, we had try our best and live with no regrets. We should be glad that we are not the one made the glaring errors. If nothing can be indeminify, we should not continue to clinging on it.
I believe in causality. I believe in retribution. I have faith with God above and I believe in judgement day.
