My very 1st birthday celebration 2011

Today I had my very 1st birthday celebration here in Hong Kong.
Queenie is so kind boughts me lunch at Sushi One at Ashley Road, nearby our office, which is just opposite of my apartment.
Sushi One is kinda Japanese Restaurant Chain store, sort like our Sushi King or Sakae but the quality of food they serve definitely better than we've got in Malaysia.
I saw lots people Q up everynight in front of the shop after 9PM, heard of they will have half price promotion after 9PM. But I never try out until today.
They do serve very reasonable set lunch which is quite worth our penny.

We can choose for 3 dishes from their selected list.
We both share for 1 set lunch and order extra 2 side dishes.

We had made our set lunch as this...

and this main dish-ginger fried beef don

This set is only costs HKD59.00

(If you like sashimi, you can pick the main meal with choice of one whole plate of fresh sashimi or sashimi don with only HKD69.00!!)

I like this very very much!!!! Yummy!!

Guess what is this?? translate to english is ' one mouth cheese' ^^

2011.2.14- 单身情人节

自己一直并不是情人节的支持者。
就算有情人的时候，我也不会怎么大事庆祝。
也许我是蛮典型的务实性格，我宁愿舍弃在所谓浪漫的环境里吃着不怎么浪漫的情人节晚餐。
我总觉得这是商人想出来坳钱日子。
我以前的有情人的情人节，在我所记得的回忆里，好像都是提前庆祝或是到一点都不浪漫的地方大杀一顿，宁愿用相同的价钱享受顶级的美食，也不愿挤在拥挤的餐厅吃着难吃的烛光晚餐。

我也不是一个特别爱花的女人，更别说是玫瑰。我喜欢的花束，比较向往小巧简单。我钟爱非洲菊，总觉得它带给我阳光，让我收花的时候心情比较晴朗。可是对我来说，情人节送花，实在不符合经济逻辑。 可是，当然有花收，某总程度上还是会符合了大部分女人虚荣的心态。我并不特别期待在这种商业节日里收到花束， 我宁愿收到一份礼物多过花束。记忆中，三十年的日子里，我只曾经在情人节里收过两次花，虽然很高兴收到男朋友的花，可是内心深处，心痛大于感动。所以，我往往收到后都特别交待下一年别再送花。如果想送，宁可平时送！是的，我是现实的。

单身了几年，加上工作忙碌和压力，我更忘记了今年的情人节。
忙碌的星期一，突然收到电话叫我到门口收花，我顿时有点反应不过来。
身边的同事比我还兴奋，玩起猜人游戏。
虽然卡上没有任何注名，我心里有谱。
有人问，收花高兴吗？
我也只微笑带过。
心里的p/s: 除了谢谢，也只有谢谢，如此而已。
第三次在情人节当天收到花，却第一次有那种复杂的心情。原来收花的心情是随着送花者是谁而有所不同。
不管送花者的原意是什么，是表示心意还是单纯想让我开心，无论如何，我还是应该感恩。
就如匿名者卡上写着，我该多笑一笑。
是的，压力减少了脸上的微笑，实在不应该。

2011。02。14~ 我的单身情人节，除了这花，没有什么不同。我还是一样工作到深夜。
真的，如果有情人，天天都是情人节！

Matter of HEARTS

Before I miss out, I MUST blog this out. I received another birthday gift last week. Haha...sounds like July is really my month. Though my birthday is falls on June, but I still receive birthday gift until now. Wow...

It's a really 'fruitful' year 2009 for me . ^_* It isn't about what gift I had received but it's about matter of 'HEARTS'!

I'm touched!!!

I received a parcel today. It is a super lovely birthday gift from Merlinda. This parcel was delivered across the miles from Singapore.

Merlinda is my ex-colleagues. She was collector for my customers last time. She based in Singapore and I stationed in Malaysia. We both never met each others before but we build up our relationship start from 'fighting' (hahaha...ya fight for our own standpoint at work...this so called '不打不相识'). She sent me mooncakes every year during the Mid Autum Festival (delicious mooncakes from Hotel EQ !)When I shared among team, they are so impressed with her kindness. Well, after few round of internal re-org , I've to say, she is the BEST collector I ever deal with! Indeed, she is a very kind lady which helps me alots at works. And she works conscientiously and attentively! Though she is no longer in Agilent since long times ago, we do keep in touch via MSN and her blog is one of my favourite place to hang out online .^_^

Yesterday she IM me asking whether I do receive her parcel. I am still curious what she send me and then I've got it today! When I open up the parcel, I am so touched!! She scrapbooked me a door hanger with my favourite things!! Wow...it is a special gift solely for me, and it is soooooo unique! She could observes all my favourite activities. She even send me few scrapbook magazines!! I remembered I did ask her something about scrapbook for ONCE only long times ago and she could remember it until now! Wow....So thoughtful!!

Merlinda, Thanks for your lovely gift and your kindness to share out your scrapbook magazines! You're amazing scrapper !! I am so touched! ^_*

I am so happy I still can receive gift after my birthday month. So sweet..... Its reminds me I am beloved by friendship ! !! ^_^
